Volant's (15554-1, 15554D-1, 155546-1) air intakes fit a wide range of GM full size Truck and SUV platforms featuring GM's L86/L87 6.2L V8 engine. Applications include: 2014-2019 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra as well as 2015-2020 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and GMC Yukon, Yukon XL and Cadillac Escalade platforms. Volant's cold air intake is built to outlast and outperform the competition. Built from rugged crosslink polyetheylene construction the Volant airbox and air duct are designed to increase engine performance and last a lifetime. The Volant system outflows the stock system by X% delivering clean cool air to the L83 engine unlocking added horsepower and torque. The systems also features Volant's patented smoked acrylic air box lid which allows the driver to easily inspect the air filter in between maintenance intervals. Manufacturer's Warranty — Volant
Volant Performance is a TMG Performance Products brand and its coverage is tiered by part. Air intake parts — duct, box, lid and hardware — carry a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original retail purchaser, for as long as that purchaser owns the vehicle the system was originally installed on; the filter is not part of that coverage. Filters are warranted separately: DryTech, MaxFlow 5 and Primo — one year of ownership; Donaldson PowerCore® — four years or 100,000 miles. Proof of purchase is required, and Volant will repair, replace, or refund the original purchase price at its option. Not covered: finish damage, misuse, accident or negligence, alteration or modification, installation contrary to Volant's instructions, and repair by an unauthorized service facility — and Volant makes no warranty at all for products installed on vehicles used for race or competition. Volant handles claims itself: contact Volant within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect for a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number, then send the part back pre-paid with the RGA number marked on the package, the dated sales receipt, and a written description of the problem. A part returned under warranty and found not to be defective is shipped back at the purchaser's charge.
