Head Studs, Rod Bolts, Main Studs & Engine Hardware

ARP

ARP (Automotive Racing Products) was founded in 1968 by racing enthusiast Gary Holzapfel after he saw friends’ engines failing from broken fasteners — at the time no commercially available studs and bolts were up to the job. ARP describes itself as the first company to design and engineer fasteners specifically for racing, and it has grown from a backyard garage into forging, machining, finishing and packaging facilities in Santa Paula and Ventura, California, with every operation performed in-house. Its product line now covers virtually every fastener found in an engine and driveline, from OEM replacement hardware to specialty parts for Formula 1, IndyCar, NASCAR and NHRA teams, and the company also runs an aerospace division. What we carry is the core of that catalog: cylinder head stud and bolt kits, connecting rod bolts in 8740 chrome moly, ARP2000, L19 and Custom Age 625 Plus, main stud and main bolt kits, engine and accessory hardware in 12-point and hex, wheel studs, and ARP Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant.

ARP lists its kits by engine family rather than by year, make and model, so the Part Finder does not filter these products — use the Make pages (Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, BMW and 28 more) or the engine named in each title. Bulk studs, bolts, nuts and washers are chosen by thread size and head style. ARP does not publish a written consumer warranty; its order desk and technical support line is 1-800-826-3045.
