Founded in 1977 by Bill Wood in Camarillo, California, Wilwood Engineering designs and manufactures high-performance disc brake systems in-house. An ISO 9000-compliant American manufacturer, Wilwood keeps more than 300 caliper designs, 200 rotor designs and 100 master cylinder options on the shelf. Its forged aluminum calipers — machined from high-strength billet with one-piece stainless steel pistons — run everything from competitive motorsports and street performance to off-road, utility and military applications, including heavy-duty brakes for the U.S. military's Humvee.
