Subaru Shifters, Bushings & Chassis Hardware

Kartboy

Kartboy was born in a San Diego machine shop in 1999, when aerospace fabricator Tom Deadrick — better known as Kartboy — grew tired of vague shifts and weak stock components and started making his own parts for his Subaru. Every part was designed, machined and tested in-house, and the range stayed deliberately narrow: short shifters, shifter bushings, sway bar end links, exhaust hangers and shift knobs, almost all of it for Subaru. In 2025 Tom partnered with Company23 and BuiltRight Industries and the brand moved its headquarters to Wisconsin. Everything is still produced in the USA and carries a limited lifetime warranty.

What We Carry from Kartboy
Short shifters and shifter bushings
Sway bar end links
Exhaust hangers
Shift knobs and engine mounts
13 of the 59 parts are Universal-fit — Knuckleball shift knobs are chosen by 5-speed or 6-speed gearbox rather than by model year, and the license plate deletes, exhaust hanger, endlink spacers and endlink rebuild kit fit by hardware size, so they will not appear in the Part Finder. Match the Kartboy part number to your build.
