So far, these have worked well for my application. They are described as being made from solid brass stock with gold plating. I hope they are in that I saw a review of this identical item, where one snapped in two and it looked as though it was made of some type of pot metal alloy.

QuickCar Racing Products does not publish a fixed warranty period. Coverage is handled as a return-and-inspection process: the product must be in an unaltered, unchanged state from its original condition and no more than one (1) year old — two (2) years for scales. An RMA number must be requested from QuickCar at 800-997-7333 before anything is shipped back; write the RMA number on the outside of the box and include your contact information and a description of the problem in a note inside the box. Warranty parts are inspected on receipt and may be deemed non-returnable if the failure was caused by misuse of the part. Custom parts are not returnable for credit, though they can sometimes be repaired. Retain your proof of purchase; claims are handled by the manufacturer.
