Koyorad Cooling Systems, Inc. publishes a limited warranty on its products with no stated term: every Koyorad performance radiator is pressure tested three times during production, and the warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable to any later purchaser or owner. Koyorad does not take warranty claims from end users — it holds warranty agreements with its distributors and directs all warranty inquiries to the point of purchase, so send your claim to us and we will open it for you. Prepare a detailed description of the problem, clear photos, a copy of the original invoice, a list of every modification on the vehicle, the part number, the date and price of purchase, and your contact details; Koyorad notes that photos will not replace a physical inspection but do shorten the claim. Koyorad does not cover damage caused by accident or vehicle collision, modification of the product, installation error, impact from road debris, or neglect of the vehicle cooling system. Koyorad requires a complete cooling system flush and a refill of new coolant mixed 50/50 with distilled, de-ionized or de-mineralized water when an all-aluminum racing radiator is installed, and states it will not accept products damaged by failing to purge all air from the cooling system; it also recommends the coolant grade in the vehicle owner's manual and says cooling system additives are not necessary. Installation by an ASE certified mechanic is recommended, racing radiators may need the inlet and outlet hoses trimmed slightly for the extra core thickness, and Koyorad notes that a small number of vehicle-specific applications may need modification or fabrication to fit correctly. The warranty is also void for improper installation, storage, repair or maintenance, misuse, neglect, abuse, physical damage, improper handling or shipping, operation contrary to the instructions, exposure to fire, water or extreme temperature, cosmetic damage, products whose serial numbers have been removed or made illegible, the cost of installation, removal or reinstallation, and damage from acts of God. Koyorad products sold through USA distributors are intended for use within the USA only. Shipping damage is claimed through the carrier. Koyorad disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and is not liable for incidental, indirect or consequential damages; some states do not allow those exclusions, so you may have other rights that vary by state.
