Manufacturer's Warranty — King Engine Bearings
King warrants all new King products to be free from defects for one (1) year from the date of Activation and no longer than two (2) years from the purchase date; the part must be activated in the i-King system for the warranty to apply. King is not responsible for failures resulting from improper installation or repair procedures, alteration or the misapplication of parts, or use in engines modified for racing, and does not cover damage to the engine or its parts resulting from failure to properly maintain or repair the vehicle or from use in non-standard, off-road applications. Cosmetics, esthetics, appearance and coloration are excluded where the functionality of the item is not affected. Claims are submitted through King authorized distributors, and the purchaser must give notice within 30 days of any failure suspected to be warrantable. A claim requires the receipt for the part, photographs of all of the engine's rotating assembly parts, and a completed Technical Inquiry Form; the purchaser is responsible for operating and maintaining the engine to the engine manufacturer's specifications and for providing evidence of that compliance. Additional repair costs, parts and labor are not covered unless King decides otherwise following its claim analysis, and King's maximum liability is limited to the amount of the purchased product.
Warranty terms are set by the manufacturer and may change. Contact us if you need help with a warranty claim.
