Black disc brake pads were designed as an all purpose, low cost race pad for racers at every level. Good cold effectiveness makes the compound up to the task on a wide range of tracks, and it works well in multiple race environments from dirt modified to IMCA style pavement racing. Black is a medium torque, medium temperature race material with a working range of 100 to 900 degrees Fahrenheit and an optimal temperature range of 200 to 700 degrees Fahrenheit.
