Edelbrock 9265 Sq Bore Heat Insulator

The Edelbrock Square-bore Heat Insulator Gasket #9266 is designed to prevent percolation on Edelbrock Performer Series carburetors exposed to extreme under hood temperatures. This gasket features an open center which will allow open plenum Torker and Victor style manifolds to seal properly to the carburetor. Prior to installation, check air cleaner-to-hood clearance to ensure that additional height of heat insulator gasket will not cause interference. Remove air cleaner and all attachments to the carburetor such as fuel line, throttle linkage, and vacuum lines. Be sure to note the position or tag each piece to facilitate re-installation.
