Edelbrock part #7891 Accu-Drive camshaft gear drive kit for big-block Chevrolet engines replaces a stock timing chain with a precision gear drive system utilizing a compound gear drive train. The gear drive can be easily installed. Just replace the stock crank and camshaft sprockets with Accu-Drive gears and slip in the idler assembly. Most Accu-Drives require no modifications to the engine block, although some fitting of the axles and front cover may be required. This Accu-Drive camshaft gear drive kit for big-block Chevrolet engines transmits power from the crankshaft gear to a full floating main idler which drives the camshaft gear. A unique feature of the Edelbrock Accu-Drive system is the ability of the main idler gear to float to an optimum position between the crankshaft and camshaft gears, assuring absolutely equal load sharing between the crankshaft and the camshaft gears.
This product is not approved for sale or use in the State of California, or in other states that require a CARB Executive Order (E.O.) number. It is intended for use in states that do not require CARB certification.

Claims are made through the original place of purchase or directly with Edelbrock, with proof of purchase.

Edelbrock warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, except where a product line carries different terms: Performer Series carburetors and Race Division parts are covered for 90 days, Thunder Series AVS carburetors for one year, remanufactured carburetors for 30 days, and E-Force superchargers for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Use of E85 fuel voids carburetor coverage. Racing or competition use, marine use unless the part is listed for marine applications, modification, improper installation or maintenance and excessive wear are excluded, and installation and removal costs are not covered. Claims are made through the place of purchase or directly with Edelbrock with proof of purchase; Pro-Flo EFI systems, crate engines, E-Force superchargers and cylinder heads are returned directly to Edelbrock.
