They're ideal for replacing or upgrading from a points triggered distributor. They feature precision machining for a perfect fit along with a simple three wire hook up for an easy installation with no need to run an external ignition control box. The centerless ground shaft utilizes an upper sealed roller bearing with an extra long lower bronze Oil-Lite bushing for smooth operation. The high output magnetic pickup and large paddle wheel reluctor deliver a strong trigger signal at high RPM for maximum performance. All of these features allow Max-Fire distributors to provide unrivaled voltage to the coil, ensuring that you're getting maximum performance from your engine.

Edelbrock warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, except where a product line carries different terms: Performer Series carburetors and Race Division parts are covered for 90 days, Thunder Series AVS carburetors for one year, remanufactured carburetors for 30 days, and E-Force superchargers for three years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Use of E85 fuel voids carburetor coverage. Racing or competition use, marine use unless the part is listed for marine applications, modification, improper installation or maintenance and excessive wear are excluded, and installation and removal costs are not covered. Claims are made through the place of purchase or directly with Edelbrock with proof of purchase; Pro-Flo EFI systems, crate engines, E-Force superchargers and cylinder heads are returned directly to Edelbrock.
