By reducing the amount of body roll your BMW is kept much closer to level than stock (while still allowing just enough body roll) to improve mechanical grip. Anti-roll bars are a common part of modern suspension systems whose job it is to do what the name implies – reduce body roll in all situations. However, from the factory, they are often designed to be overly soft for maximum comfort and not explicitly for improved driving dynamics.
