Form-A-Shield solves the problem of needing a direct contact, extreme heat barrier.
Capable of withstanding direct heat of up to 1400ยฐF, Form-A-Shield was designed to provide the best possible heat protection in areas where high temperatures are always present and problematic. Form-A-Shield can be applied to exhaust headers, manifolds, turbo housings, and downpipes dramatically reducing radiant exhaust temperatures. Formed from 10 mil dimpled aluminum bonded to a high temperature rated basalt thermal barrier material, Form-A-Shield can be applied directly to hot surfaces helping to lower under hood temperatures while keeping more heat in the exhaust system.
NOTE: Use DEI Adhesive Spray with Form-A-Shield on non-hot areas to serve as a heat barrier / reflector.

Manufacturer's Warranty โ DEI
DEI (Design Engineering, Inc.) warrants its products to the original retail purchaser, with proof of purchase, to be free from defects in material and workmanship for as long as the purchaser owns the vehicle on which the product was originally installed. If a product is found by DEI to be defective, DEI will, at its option, repair or replace it or refund the original purchase price. Not covered: damage or defects in the finish of a product; products that have been misused, damaged by accident or negligence, altered or modified, installed contrary to DEI’s installation instructions, or repaired by an unauthorized service facility; and products installed on vehicles used for racing or competition. The warranty does not cover labor, removal, installation or reinstallation, freight or transportation charges, or incidental and consequential damages. Claims start with the place of purchase: return the product to where it was bought for a warranty determination within thirty (30) days of purchase. If the claim is not resolved there, DEI issues a Return Goods Authorization and the product is returned to DEI prepaid with the dated proof of purchase and a written description of the problem.
