Adjustable Shock Absorbers Since 1945.

KONI

Founded in 1857 in Oud-Beijerland, the Netherlands, KONI began as a saddlery before turning to vehicle suspension — taking the KONI name in 1928 and building its first friction dampers in 1932. In 1945 KONI developed the world's first adjustable hydraulic telescopic shock absorber, the product style still synonymous with the brand. KONI went racing at the 1955 Tulip Rally and entered Formula 1 with Ferrari in 1958, and has been part of ITT since 1972. Today KONI's patented FSD (Frequency Selective Damping) technology — soft over bumps, firm under cornering loads — is factory-fitted to millions of vehicles worldwide.
