Dinan

Dinan was founded in 1979 by Steve Dinan and incorporated in 1982 as Bavarian Performance, Inc. in Morgan Hill, California, taking the Dinan Engineering name in 1988. Over four decades it became North America’s best-known BMW tuner, developing complete powertrain, exhaust, intake, suspension and brake systems for BMW — and later for MINI and the Toyota GR Supra — and building racing engines for Grand-Am Daytona Prototype competition. In 2018 the company moved from the Bay Area to Opelika, Alabama, where it now engineers and tests alongside APR under the Holley Performance Brands portfolio.
