Goodridge Limited has built performance fluid transfer systems since 1969, from a global headquarters at Exeter in England. A Goodridge line is a PTFE inner with a stainless steel outer braid: the braid stops the hose swelling under pressure, so the pedal stays firm where a rubber hose goes soft, and the braid also resists the abrasion and corrosion that end a rubber hose's life. The same plumbing goes to vehicle manufacturers and to racing teams, and Goodridge brake hose carries DOT (NHTSA) approval in the United States, TÜV approval in Germany and VCA approval in the United Kingdom.
